I have long been craving a community of real people wanting to make something good out this shared life experience. Not just the accepted, fear-based, tactical approach of most, but one without selfish intentions, simply because it was the right thing to do - even if it wasn't the most popular decision to make. As an artist, and as a person who's been personally affected by HIV, and as someone who's spent extended time in Brazil doing charity work, I see how much we still have to do on this shared journey. Currently, I've decided to focus on creating handpainted re-usable cotton bags with hopeful images and messages. Broccoli Bags has also been my way of giving back to the environment, as I donate a portion of my proceeds to planting more trees. Not driving a car, recycling, and replacing bulbs wasn't enough for me. I needed to see the change in our awakening happen quicker, and my art seemed the best way. I hope to find other artists and nature-lovers like myself in this wonderful community of catalysts! Love the new TV Series on Sundays on CW!!!!
