Where: KITGUM, BOMA GROUNDS, KITGUM, NORTHERN UGANDA When: Monday, April 28 Time: 12:30:00 PM - 4:00:00 PM Crazy Legs (Rock Steady Crew) is coming to Uganda with 2 other members of his (Bboy Ynot & Servin'Ervin). They're going to perform & work with 'Breakdance project Uganda', a Ugandan project which uses breakdance (bboying) plus other elements of Hiphop for positive social change. They're going to stage a 'YOUTH UP FOR PEACE' concert in Kitgum, Northern Uganda which is also going to feature 'Sylvester & Abramz', children from Gulu, Northern Uganda (H.E.A.L.S), Live graffiti by Imran & traditional dancers. They're also going to be workshops & discussions. The major aim of this event is to get the children & youths directly involved in peace building & advocacy plus positive social change. This will all be followed up with sustainable workshops & exchange programs. |

Thanks for sharing this event with us. It's so uplifting to hear about your project and I was totally moved by watching the video. They all looked like they were having so much fun, which they fully deserve and should be able to do every day.
