Program Summary Canada is the largest non-African mining investor in the DRC. Canada has been asked multiple times by the UN to lead an intervention in the DRC and has refused. Unfortunately Canadian International Development Agency aid to the DRC is down to $23.4 million from $33 million in 2006/07.
