Looking forward to connecting with others on this path! I am the co-founder of Shanti Uganda and while not in Uganda, run a yoga studio on Hastings St.

Shanti Uganda works with communities impacted by war, poverty and HIV/AIDS in Uganda. Through the use of yoga, expressive arts therapy and traditional healing practices, we teach children ways to heal from the inside out! We also work to restore traditional birthing practices in rural communities through education and birth assistance. Our grassroots community initiatives include an organic agriculture project, a community egg program and an income generating craft-cooperative for women with HIV/AIDS.
