I am a Mohawk woman, a cultural anthropologist and I am currently the chair for the Indigenous Elders and Youth Council a non-profit organization which formed from our collective vision to save our culture, especially our ceremonial Indigenous knowledge which is rapidly disappearing. Our membership includes representatives from many Indigenous nations including Mohawk, Cree, Lakota, Ojibwe, Navajo, and the Union of Yage Healers (Colombia and Brazil). We would love to share our grassroots exchanges which occur in our respective communities.
